Miniature 16th-century sundial, used during the reign of King Philip II—King of Naples and Sicily from 1554 to 1598, ruler of the Netherlands from 1555 to 1598, King of Spain from 1556 to 1598 and of Portugal from 1580 to 1598 as Philip I, of the Habsburg dynasty. The original is kept in the British Museum in London
Made of Zamak and brass, lacquered using a technique from several hundred years ago.
Height 130 mm, diameter 45 mm, depth 4 mm; weight 70 g
